White Day

I’ve posted about “fake” holidays here (Pepero Day) before, and it’s no joke. So, I was surprised to receive candy and flowers on March 15th for “White Day” (Korean equivalent of Valentine’s Day). It was really lovely to get flowers delivered to work…I work with 40+ other females, so you can image the “ooh”s and “ah”s I heard from the women around me!

Some sweetheart students gave me pieces of chocolate the next day (probably leftovers from their own White Day festivities) so I ate a fistful of chocolates periodically throughout work…Oops.
